Step by step

  1. In the Shopify Dev Dashboard create an app with the read_content and write_content scopes.
  2. Install the app on your store.
  3. In Postia press Add account, pick Shopify, type your-store.myshopify.com and paste the app's Admin API access token — or its client ID and secret, as id:secret.

If something goes wrong, the form shows the network's own answer in words, and nothing is saved until the connection works.

Can a crosspost rule watch my Shopify blog?

No. This network does not let an app read what an account has posted, so a rule cannot watch it. It can still be a destination of any rule.

A post says "Partly failed". What does that mean?

It reached some of its channels and not others. Open the post: every destination is listed with what happened to it, and a failed one carries the network's own error message.

Nothing is retried behind your back. Fix the cause, then send the post again to the channels that missed it.
