Step by step

  1. Open the Accounts screen and press Add account.
  2. Pick Facebook & Instagram.
  3. Approve access on Meta's screen, keeping ticked every Page you want Postia to post to.
  4. Approve it in the tab that opened, then pick what to keep.

If something goes wrong, the form shows the network's own answer in words, and nothing is saved until the connection works.

Questions about Facebook

Can Postia post to my personal Facebook profile?

No. Facebook lets apps publish to Pages only, not to personal profiles. That is Facebook's rule, and it applies to every tool that posts there.

One of my Pages is missing in Postia.

Keep ticked every Page you want Postia to post to on Meta's screen. A Page left out there is invisible to Postia until you connect again and tick it.

Does connecting Facebook also connect Threads?

No. Meta keeps Threads apart from Facebook and Instagram, with its own approval, so approving one does not approve the other. It is one extra login and then it behaves like the others.

A post says "Partly failed". What does that mean?

It reached some of its channels and not others. Open the post: every destination is listed with what happened to it, and a failed one carries the network's own error message.

Nothing is retried behind your back. Fix the cause, then send the post again to the channels that missed it.
